# Surgical robotics history: publication build

This standalone explorer contains 42 platform/program records, 119 milestones and 102 sources. It includes 11 photographs with recorded authorization or an attribution license. Nine images with unresolved reuse terms are source-linked only; their files are excluded. Twenty-two catalogue entries remain unillustrated.

Open index.html locally or serve this directory with a static web server. No build service, account or API key is required. The data, map and images load locally; external source links require internet access.

This conference-independent explorer can be reused for future talks. Do not upload the private web directory, source bundle, review film or deck. The production route is https://www.leezhaomd.org/robotics-history/, in the lcz541/leezhaomd-www GitHub repository, deployed by its existing Cloudflare Pages integration. See publication.json for release hashes. The private film and deck are not part of this site.

Update web/dataset.json in the full private source bundle, run src/export_data.py, then src/build_public.py. This regenerates the publication data and includes only files allowed by each public_web rights field. Keep image credit and license links visible.
