Endoscopic treatment of urethral strictures
The initial treatment of urethral stricture is frequently endoscopic. I prefer balloon dilation over incision. Dilation can be performed in the office without fluoroscopy. The below video shows the technique of using a flexible cystoscope to go alongside the balloon dilator.

Anterior Urethroplasty

I aim for a non-transecting approach, but in cases of urethral obliteration, transection may be necessary. Buccal mucosa graft is the most common tissue used to augment the urethra.
